Acropolis Museum

The Acropolis Museum is located only a five-minute walk only from Acropolis Stay, By visiting the museum one can learn more about the monument’s history and admire its sculptures. After exploring Athenian ancient history do not forget to have a cup of coffee or meal at the restaurant on the second floor. Enjoy your meal with a selection of Greek traditional dishes, either inside or on the outdoor terrace with the s outstanding views of the Parthenon and the hill. Keep in mind that you do not necessarily need a ticket for the museum to enter the museum’s restaurant.

Areopagus Hill.

Located in the Northwest of the Acropolis Areopagus hill offers its visitor a stunning view of the monuments. Apart from the Acropolis, the Temple of Hephaestus and the Ancient Agora are also visible. According to Greek mythology, the hill took its name from Ares the God of war, who have been tried by the other gods on the Areopagus for the murder of Poseidon’s son Halirrhothius .In ancient times this was the meeting point for philosophers and judges to give their speeches to the Greek people. Also, Apostle Paul gave one of his most important speeches standing on this rocky hill. Today visitors can find one of the best views of all the monuments and especially Ancient Agora. Be careful while climbing as the rocks have become quite slippery from the thousands of people going up and down through the years.

 Anafiotika.

This neighborhood of Athens lying in the shadow of Acropolis hill is the spot where you can closely admire Acropolis. Built-in the 19th century by workers from the island of Anafi gives the impression of a Greek island in the heart of Athens. Acropolis Stay is just 5 minutes away from this magical and unique “Greek island”.

Restaurants-Bars.
